Michael Campbell spent a good few hours working on his game ahead of contesting this week's Omega Dubai Desert Classic.
Campbell and his new caddy, Roy Robinson from Manchester made their way to the Doha Golf Club range mid-morning on Saturday.
He practiced for a good three hours in warm sunshine after Campbell had missed the Commercial Bank Qatar Masters halfway cut with scores of 77 and 76.
"I am really pleased with the way I am striking the ball and looking forward very much to playing in Dubai," he said.
"It was tough few days here in Doha with the windy conditions making the course play very tough.
"But next week is a new tournament and we'll see what happens."
Meantime -
Campbell has asked his many friends to read the message he posted on his website regarding suggestions he was considering quitting the game.
Campbell had spoken to journalists in Abu Dhabi last week and it was his tounge in cheek remark that generated news headlines he was thinking of quitting the game.
The fact it that the former U.S. Open champion has not considered any such move.
