MICHAEL CAMPBELL eagerly makes his seventh appearance when he tees up in this weeks Arnold Palmer Invitational at Bay Hil in Florida.
Campbell has been a good supporter of the event hosted by the legendary Arnold Palmer.
He first teed-up on the suburban Orlando course in 1996.
In 2002, Campbell finished a brilliant second capped by back-to-back rounds of 68 on both day two and day three.
Campbell made his sixth appearance in the event last year but was unfortunate to sit out the weekend rounds.
Palmer again afforded an invite to Campbell to tee up this year and the former U.S. Open champion could not be happier.
"It was great to receive an invitation and I have to thank Mr. Palmer very much," said Campbell.
"I've always enjoyed coming to Bay Hill as it's a fabulous venue, so I'm looking forward to playing well this week.
"I've had a few weeks off since my last event in Dubai but I have been working hard, as usual, on my game."
Campbell will tee-up over the first two rounds in the company of Ameican David Toms and Scotland's Martin Laird.
Toms captured the 2001 U.S. PGA Championship at Atlanta that generated that famous newspaper headling - "Major Tom".
Laird also in no stranger to headlines after clinching last year's Las Vegas Invitational.
