Campbell Inching Closer

Michael Campbell edged a little nearer to showing some good form despite a two over par 74 on day one of the BMW International Open in Munich.
Campbell recorded two birdies but also twice as many bogeys in sunny conditions on the Munchen Eichenried course.
“I hit some pretty decent shots out there but it’s just that I am still getting penalised badly for the bad shots,” he said.
“But there’s some good positive signs and that’s pleasing.”
Included in Campbell’s round were two birdies but twice as many bogeys.
If left the New Zealander trailing 10 strokes behind the leading British pair of Scotland’s Peter Whiteford and Welshman Bradley Dredge.
