The motivation behind the establishment of the Michael Campbell Foundation is to fulfil Michael’s feeling of responsibility to reciprocate the inspiration and encouragement that has helped him throughout his career and life.
Michael believes that achieving full potential comes from setting goals at a young age and working hard towards meeting them. The earlier people are inspired to reach for their dreams the greater chance they will have of meeting them.
Ultimately Michael wishes to make a contribution towards ensuring more New Zealanders dominate their chosen field on the international stage.
The mission of the Michael Campbell Foundation is to inspire young New Zealanders to realise their full potential. This will be achieved by building a ‘Talent Pyramid’ based on healthy lifestyle, discovering talent and nurturing excellence.
